Kisa Gbekle Says She Is Not Interested in Dating Without Purpose*
Ghanaian actress and influencer Kisa Gbekle has said she currently has no interest in dating, explaining that she sees little value in relationships that are based mainly on sexual connection.
Speaking in an interview with Nana Romeo on Atuu, she rejected suggestions that being unmarried means she is missing out. She questioned what a partner could add to her life beyond intimacy and expressed doubts about the importance often placed on companionship.
Gbekle also made it clear that if she eventually decides to marry, it would be on her own terms, including a commitment to abstinence before marriage. She suggested that many men are more focused on short-term relationships rather than long-term commitment.
“I am single but not searching. If I get a man, what would the person do for me aside sexual intercourse? ‘How are you, I’m fine. How did you sleep? My son does that every day! If God permits and I get someone who wants to marry me, I will go for it.
“But for just casual sexual intercourse, because I’ve done that several times and given birth from it, I’m not interested in all of those things again,” Kisa Gbekle stated.
