Ghanaian musician Kelvyn Brown, also known as Kelvyn Boy, has raised concerns about the noticeable absence of Deputy Minister for Tourism Arts and Culture, Okraku Mantey, within the creative arts community.
In a lighthearted tweet, the artist humorously pointed out that the minister, who is also a music producer, has become surprisingly quiet since assuming his role in government. Kelvyn Boy expressed his surprise, highlighting that Okraku Mantey is known for his outspoken and extroverted personality.
“OK, let’s talk about the Creative Arts scene. Where has Okraku Mantey disappeared to since he became the Deputy Minister in our field? He’s gone unusually quiet. Given his reputation as an outspoken and extroverted individual like Mark, I’m a bit taken aback. What’s really happening?” Kelvyn Boy inquired.
Notably, other figures in the music industry, such as Shatta Wale, Tic Tac, and Bullgod, have also expressed similar concerns regarding Okraku Mantey’s reduced visibility in the creative sector following his appointment as Deputy Minister for Tourism Arts and Culture.
